Presentation
My artistic approach has changed enormously in recent months. This ability to question is, in my opinion, the power of this profession: the progression, the radical change of point of view. The creative process is so intense and mysterious. How can a blockage of several months lead to an extremely fruitful creative period that is so different from the previous period? The inspiration that, when I was younger, I thought was immediate is in fact the fruit of several months of conscious and unconscious reflection, of memories, of images. Lots of technique, all these tasteless, hidden canvases, to give a single gratifying canvas.
This perpetual and tangible progress allows me to have a goal in life: to know what I will be able to do later. But when I look back on my work done a few months ago, I look at it with incomprehension: what pride pushed me to make it known to the world?
Today, it is this precariousness of the spirit, of life, that inspires me. The shapes are flexible, as if in motion. The works are painted on the back of old canvases that I find uninteresting today. This new use multiplies the possibilities. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me!
