Pascal Bruandet

After studying philosophy and graduating in fine arts in Paris, I embarked on a career as a sculptor and painter. Until 2013 my approach was essentially abstract inspired by the mechanical world.

From 2013, figuration resumed its rights and the human figure gradually imposed itself until the large portraits of ordinary people that I put on the streets today.

In parallel to this drawing work carried out with a watercolor drawing technique, the discovery of digital possibilities allowed me to develop interactive animations rewarded in 2002 by the special jury prize of the George Pompidou center of the first Flash festival in France. The possibilities offered by digital drawing allowed me to create live drawing performances that I presented to the public as for Nuits Blanches in Paris in 2007.

Quick drawing for an urban expression or graphic performance give me the experience to taste with pleasure the experience of drawn video.

INTERVENTIONS of an educational nature.

About thirty interventions in nursery, primary, middle and high school since 1997, in the form of APA, PAC classes or at the Beauvais IME. Interventions at the Beauvais IUFM or even multimedia training for plastic arts teachers at the Amiens academy.
Training on the Adobe PAO suite for the Federation of associations of visual artists and for the Diaphane association, and as an occasional trainer for professional training organizations.
I supervised plastic and multimedia art workshops in penitentiaries in Liancourt and Compiègne from 1996 to 2006
