Biography
Born in Dublin in 1999, Robbie Barrat has been hailed as a young prodigy in the world of crypto-art, and the ever-flourishing world of NFTs. Having grown up in West Virginia, his extensive professional background in digital research labs has lent itself to the artist's pioneering endeavors in AI art. One of his most notable works, entitled Infinite Skulls, digitally scanned 450 paintings of skulls by artist Ronan Barrot atop one another in order to create original anatomical images from these works. For his digitally produced landscapes and AI generated nude portraits, Barrat's work has been recognized on a global scale in recent years.
In 2019, Barrat was interviewed as part of the Christie's Art + Tech Summit 2019, on his “confrontation" with Ronan Barrot and on the future of AI art. His work has featured several brands and pop culture figures, such as the portrayal of a Balenciaga fashion show and a performance by Kanye West.
