Biography
Benattar Marie was born in Reunion Island, in 1984. She studied painting at the Fine Arts Bali and Clermont- Ferrand, before focusing on photography.
She received Marc Grosset award in 2010, in art photography category and her work was showned at Promenades Photographiques, in Vendôme. She was awarded Bourse du Talent in Fashion category, in 2013. Her work was exhibited the following year at Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF), Paris.
Marie Benattar creates conceptual images, distilling both poetry and humor. She reinvents, sculpts and recomposes space. She builds and paints the sets of a world fool of colors and geometric shapes.
