Born in 1979 in Ralwalpindi, Pakistan, Sara Farid is an artist-photographer and journalist. She publishes in national and international publications (Le Monde, The New York Times, AFP, Reuters and The Guardian); exhibits in Pakistan and other countries.
She is dedicated to women, displaced and marginalized communities. Endangered, she was forced to flee her country and found asylum in France in 2018. She presented her work at the Cité internationale des arts - Site de Montmartre (Visions d'Exil festival), and participated in the “guest student program” »From the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
