Ronyel Compra (b. 1985) is a visual artist based in Cebu City. He earned his college degree from the University of the Philippines in the Visayas - Cebu under the Fine Arts program. Shortlisted for the Ateneo Art Awards 2019, and a recipient of the Bellas Artes Artist Residency Program. He uses and experiments with a variety of materials from indigenous to industrial. He exhibited his works from Cebu city to the nation's capital.
He also collaborated with a group of artists from different parts of the Philippines. He held a show in Bukidnon, the southern part of the Philippines, together with the other artists. They collaborated with the Talaandig tribe artists who are known for using soil as the main ingredient of their paintings. Compra has participated in the VIVA Capiz 2018 with KLMTW for the public installation of an imprint of the façade of Banica Cemetery.
