Biography
Mario Chichorro was born in Portugal in Torrés Vedras. He studied in Coimbra and in architecture at the Superior School of Fine Arts in Porto. He arrived in France in 1963. He produced around 3,500 works, has more than a hundred exhibitions in France and around the world. Over the past forty years Mario Chichorro has used the most diverse techniques: oil on canvas and hardboard, wood agglomerates, extruded polyurethane, synthetic resin, cork agglomerate, nailed plastics and cutouts, glued fabrics and various packaging.
