Grigori Dor was born in 1970 in Ulan-Ude, Russia. He studied in in St. Petersburg. Today he lives and woks in Berlin.
From 1990 to 94 Grigori Dor studied at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, and from 1994 to 1997 he studied Liberal Arts at Lette-Verein, Berlin. In 1997 he moved to New York City for his studies.
