Biography

Ján Juhaniak (* 1990 Velky Krtíš, Slovakia) lives and works in France.

A former student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Banská Bystrica (SK), he followed the teaching of Ludovít Hološka at the Workshop for the mastery of theoretical tools and techniques of classical painting.


In 2016, he won the Martin Benka Prize in the category of former students of the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.

Before his exhibition at the Depardieu gallery in Nice, His work was exhibited at the Nitra gallery (SK), Miloš Alexander Bazovsky gallery in Trencín (SK), X gallery in Bratislava (SK), Klatovy-Klenová gallery (CZ) and at the Cité des Arts in Paris.
