Biography
Originally from South Korea, Lee Hyun Joung was born in 1972. She lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Sorbonne, she obtained a barchelor's degree in plastic arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Sejong in Seoul.
The abstract landscapes of Lee Hyun Joung are inspired by Korean childhood, from her insatiable taste for painting and from her metal work. From these three encounters, a lyrical, poetic and impressionist universe emerges.
For more than twenty years, Lee Hyun Joung's works have been exhibited in Europe, South Korea and China in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
