Biography

Fernando Bayona's work is characterized by staged photography, with an aesthetic and use of light reminiscent of the Baroque. Graduated in fine arts and specialized in sculpture, he approaches photography in an empirical and organic way.

The favorite themes on which he bases his work are love and sex, for him the two motors that move the human being, mixed with violence, drugs or religion. He currently lives and works between Madrid and Granada.

With a relevant international career, he has participated in Arco Madrid, Photo España, Art Miami, Art Basel or Zona Maco Foto. His work is distributed throughout the world among private collections, foundations and public institutions.
