Born in 1974, Lola Martinez is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist.
She studied at the School of Art and Design of Tarragone. Lola Martinez studies the boundary between reality and abstract forms. She manages to create emotional, poetic and sensible pieces of art, where each observer can find himself. Her objective is to represent humanistic concepts through different art forms; painting, collage, photography and illustration. We can see in her pieces an evolution in her thinking and from her diverse experiences.
Abstraction is naturally born from her conceptual interpretation. She gets impregnated with the subject, adding to it her dreams and her anxieties which give way to an irrevocably subjective piece.
