Biography

In black and white, the line is fine and hard, it entangles the bodies, scribbles the faces and mixes these shadows of men.

His characters come out of the cellar, in search of a rise, they hoist themselves up, clump together and one hesitates between solidarity and trampling ...

In the line we feel the effort, the struggle towards a liberating sky. The artist offers us the muscles of these walled-in men, a quest for life, an almost joyful struggle… a kind of living box. And then the sounds that come out of the hollow mouths that we fear to hear. The artist sings about life to us by making it cry out. Are we witnessing a dance of expectation, a renunciation or, on the contrary, a dull and indestructible resistance ...

They are tight, glued, inseparable and yet these brothers of misfortune, lost in the dust within, do not all have the same face. We have here a great history of fraternity, where bodies merge and merge with the walls that hold them back.
