Virat Rungpayak

Virat is one of the senior members and leaders of the contemporary art scene in Thailand. It has been him and his associates who have moved Thai contemporary art into new areas of experimentation and subject matter.

Virat's work is highly collected not only in his home country of Thailand, but throughout Asia, particularly China and Hong Kong.

A graduate of Silpakorn University, Bangkok.
