Biography

Keith Haynes is an English artist born in London in 1963. Graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in graphic information design from Harrow College, he later worked as a designer and then director at the BBC where his work was included in the artistic programs. and most influential music of the last twenty years. Inspired by Jamie Reid and Ray Lowry, Keith's work consists of the playful and often nostalgic exploration of popular culture from his past until today. Keith's work is notable for its interesting choice of materials, creating “messy” works of pine trees, CDs or vinyl records. Brilliant and vibrant works of art created using a treasured collection of pop culture color reworked vinyl records. A portrait with iconic graphics or a song with significant lyricism, each piece is created from original vinyl records chosen to highlight the subject of the work, considered to be of equal importance with the object in Keith Haynes' work. His work is currently exhibited in the United Kingdom as well as around the world in private collections in Europe, the USA, Hong Kong or Singapore.
