Julia Chausson is a Parisian artist graduated from the School of Decorative Arts in Paris in scenography. She creates her woodcuts in a limited range of colors, with flat and very graphic prints.
Julia Chausson's work is built with an affirmed desire for economy of means and particular attention to the circulation of white people, to its movement, to its lights.
For several years now, Julia Chausson has been exploring the book object in all its forms. From conception to printing (woodcut), her artist's books are for her vast fields of experimentation. They sign the originality and the personality of his work.
Today Julia Chausson exhibits her work in
France and abroad and runs in parallel workshops around engraving and artist's book, to share and experiment with adults and children.
