Patsy MacArthur likes to explore infinite beauty of the human being through painting. Her strokes are so precise that her paintings look like photos. The artist pays close attention to every single detail. She uses ink, drawing and oil painting to achieve this realistic illusion, which often confuses the spectator. The bodies are fit, strong, stretched out, they are a tribute to the human body and physical effort, highlighting freedom.
Patsy MacArthur exhibits her work all around the world, she has done personal and collective exhibitions in Scotland, China, Spain and USA. A well-known international artist, her work has also been published in various magazines like The Herald Magazine, The Sunday Herald and The Scotsman.
