Biografía
Serge Hamad es un artista visual franco-argelino autodidacta radicado en Nueva York.
El artista comenzó a fotografiar desde muy joven, cubriendo zonas de conflicto y reportando situaciones sociopolíticas como en Irak, los Balcanes, etc.

Serge Hamad también deja espacio en su obra para temas más ligeros. Al transformar una imagen realista expresiva en abstracción, cambia los colores y los difumina en la realidad entre la fotografía y la representación digital en su serie Percepción Temporal. Cuando las ves por primera vez, las obras parecen formar una entidad única. "Sólo cuando nuestro cerebro comienza a analizar nuestra visión entendemos cómo perdimos nuestra infancia".
En 2010, Serge Hamad se dedicó principalmente a la fotografía de Bellas Artes. Desde entonces, sus obras se han exhibido en varias galerías de Estados Unidos y del extranjero, y se han vendido en subastas en Paddle 8, Artsy, Christie's Londres, Sotheby's House y Water Mill Foundation de Robert Wilson.
