Lake Paintings for Sale

Painting nature and water was one of the ambitions of the Impressionists. From Monet's water lilies to Cézanne's Lake Annecy, the Impressionists left hundreds of paintings of lakes. The reflections, the waves of the water or the nature reflected in them seem so calm and peaceful. The great lakes of Canada, Lake Maggiore or Lake Titicaca each have a particular beauty that seduces the painter. The water of the lake is alternately painted in blue, green, turquoise, even pink. More than a landscape, a lake is a mysterious passage into a forest and enigmatic sea bed.
