John Petschinger

Born in Burgenland, Austria, in 1994, the freelance artist grew up in his parents' hotel business and also worked there.

From child model and actor, Petschinger's path leads to the hotel industry and the world, as the now 26-year-old worked on luxury cruise ships and in well-known hotels in Austria and Switzerland.

However, John found art as a child. Or John the art – the scope for interpretation needs to be stylishly preserved here too.

Influenced early on by the painting of his grandfather and mother, the southern Burgenlander ultimately moved to where he is today: the studio.

He dedicates his paints and canvases exclusively to limited edition books, creating works of art that have already found their place in Milan, Venice or St. Moritz.
In his collages, John Petschinger processes great longings and his very own ones. Abstract and coincidence characterize the work, as do bright colors and the artist's unmistakable signature, which can often be found in his work: the flower.
