Born in 1978 in Burkina Faso, Nyaba Ouedraogo is passionate about photography and everything related to it. He travels the world with an insatiable curiosity, always renewed.
He started his career with a series of photographies of urban landscapes from France, Italy, Turkey and Morocco where the human being is at the center of the contemporary era's complexity, with particular attention to subjects about marginality and exclusion.
Since 2003, his work concentrates mostly on the living and working conditions in Africa. His approach is mostly photojournalism and documentaries; and consist in not showing images for what they show, but for what they reflect."
Nyaba Ouedraogo collaborates with the magazine Jeune Afrique. He is co-founder of the group "Topics Visual Arts Platform" with photographers David Damoison, David Gumbs, Jean-François Manicom and Sara Maneiro. "The Topics Platform is our laboratory and our online gallery."
