Biography
Sylvie Adams is born in New Brunswick and mostly has been living in Montreal since the 80's.
She always traveled a lot and lived in Germany, England and France. After a bachelors degree in Fine Arts at the Concordia University, she achieved a masters degree in applied science (architecture) at Montreal University.
Initially she did a career in design and worked in Canada, U.SA and Europe. But eventually decided to move back to Montreal to open her studio and dedicate herself to abstract paintings.
Her work has been presented in several solo exhibitions, both in private and public galleries. Sylvie Adams has also participated in several collective national and international exhibitions in Quebec, Ontario especially at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, for the “Art Sale 2016” exhibition in U.S.A, Europe and Asia.
Her work was exhibited in international fairs, especially Affordable Art Fair (AAF) in Seoul (2015), at Art Wynwood Miami (2016),AFF New York (2016), AAF Hampstead, London (2016), Sylvie Adams works are also part of private and corporative collections, including the permanent collection of the multinational RIo Tinto Alcan.
