Juan Pablo Ballester Carmenates (born September 16, 1966 in Camagüey, Cuba) is a Cuban artist. He lives in Barcelona, Spain since 1992.
Ballester graduated in 1981 from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA in Havana, Cuba and was a member of the artistic group ABTV (1988–1992).

1986 - "Pinturas abstractas", Galería de la Escuela Nacional de Arte, Havana, Cuba.
1991 - "Juntos y Adelante. Arte, Política y Voluntad de Representación", collateral to the IV Bienal de La Habana, Casa del Joven Creador, Havana, Cuba.
