Jean-Claude Causse was taken on board by his teacher in the creative passion. The need to express himself through materials and shapes never ceases to torment him. In his work we can find: Giacometti, Niki de Saint Phalle, Miro. All materials interest him, from earth to metal, via resin, wood, stone and finally bronze with which he offers more and more creations.

Freedom of expression is its breadcrumb trail, both for the themes treated and the subjects tackled, as well as for the materials used. Between witness and actor of his time his artistic approach is based on emotion, perception, feeling.

His ambition: to give meaning to forms and a soul to matter.
