Léo Chartier is a French painter and DJ born in 1992 in Vendée. After studying graphic design, then applied and plastic arts at university, he worked as a resident DJ in clubs for several years. This nocturnal work enabled him to occupy his days with his passion, painting.
He began creating geometric-abstract works, using automatic drawing, alongside his studies, and has continued to do so ever since. His abstract paintings, with their complex interweaving of forms, reveal a universe filled with strange creatures, futuristic cities and post-apocalyptic scenes.
