Bruno Medjaldi's painting is expressionist, figurative and very colourful. Many works offer intimate portraits and cast a sarcastic and comic eye on the existential struggles of our contemporaries. Colourful crowds invade his canvases and speak to us of the wider world. His latest works, the product of a year devoted to the theme of the Arab Uprisings, constitute the reports of a visual artist profoundly concerned with his times. The second part of his work is presented in a series entitled “State of Urgency” depicting the consequences of the Arab Uprising and for those who have been affected by this unprecedented violence.
Bruno Medjaldi: a universal artist who presents his works in all the colours of the world.
