Presentation

I am self-taught. I started with film photography that I developed in black and white. One day, I wanted to give my portraits a more poetic, more lyrical, more fantastic dimension. I colored the print with make-up pencils and glued dried flower petals. My “Flower Women” were born! Even today, I often use flowers. I like the idea of paying homage to Nature. Then, I discovered image processing software that allowed me to expand my creative universe. I take my shots in the studio and I do a lot of work in post processing, by layers and development (photo montage). Sometimes I use materials like canvas, tissue paper, etc. to obtain a different photographic material. All the work of creating the character goes through a subtle and long work of shadows, harmonies of colors, compositions, movements and balances. I use software, like the painter with his brushes and colors. In March 2000, with the status of Free Artist, I created my studio "Photo Creations", for works of artistic portraits on order and personal research around the portrait. Artistic approach Through the portrait, I seek beauty, I seek this pure emotion, like a spiritual quest. The emotion in front of the beauty whatever it is, in all the fields, uplifts us, connects us with something high and strong; divine? Someone said: "Beauty will save the world" and I believe in this redemption. You can't be busy with bad intentions when you're looking for beauty. I am looking for the dream. Dreams are useful, they rest us, give us strength and the desire to go further and keep hope for a better world. I'm looking for the poetry of Life to say sweet, tender, maternal, sensual things. Through her, I speak of Love. Its expression allows me to live a privileged link with the Others on Facebook. The looks of my Models are deep, whole, they do not tolerate low instincts. They praise delicate, yet strong hearts. They can be fragile like all conscious beings, but they don't want to give in to cowardice. What else to say… We don't fully understand why we do things… But I know that this work of creation through images does me good, it helps me participate in the world. Some denounce, testify, scream their pain, their anxieties, I suggest a little walk in a peaceful garden where you can dream a little more. But sometimes, I leave this graceful universe to cry out my revolt or my pain. My only Models are my Daughters and my Grandchildren and sometimes a self-portrait. It's a beautiful, very beautiful love story ...
