After years and years of surveying and painting the railroads, tunnels, depots and streets. Rap, a living legend of Parisian graffiti, began a self-taught and remarkable process of archiving graffiti and everything that encompasses the discipline. Archiving of his pieces, those of his crews but also those of other graffiti artists. Graffiti in general, their stories, their appearance ... By this gesture, he opened a new way of media graffiti, and unlike the large distribution often publishing bogus books on graffiti ... Rap him, gave way to books sharp for the real ones, for those who know. Books of great value for graffiti enthusiasts, but also for the uninitiated curious to discover the real face of this way of life. He feeds his books with unpublished photos, paintings but also atmosphere. And above all texts and anecdotes ... An essential pillar of Parisian graffiti, Rap was not better placed to lead a project like this one. Being self-published and designed from A to Z by itself, these books are similar to the graffiti approach, they are not there to make money, they are there to exist ... And leave a mark in time.
