Jennyfer Grassi (1978, France) entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1997 and quickly chose to continue her apprenticeship outside the establishment. In 2007, she undertook a series of paintings whose central subject was an exuberant, even threatening nature. Jungles, divers, then tornadoes and hurricanes became his favorite subjects.
Gaël Charbau spotted her in 2011. He was then the artistic director of the Salon de Montrouge and exhibited his works for the first time. The “The Tree of Life” exhibition (curators Alain Berland and Gaël Charbau - 2013) at the Collège des Bernardins confirms the quality of Jennyfer Grassi's work, who then participates in several other group exhibitions. In 2014, she was one of the twelve artists nominated for the first Emerige Revelations Grant, initiated by the collector and patron Laurent Dumas.
It was during the summer of 2017 that his work was transformed in depth, with the birth of new paintings populated by flowers in bright and bright colors. Jennyfer Grassi participates in 2018 in the exhibition event “Voyage au center de la Terre” alongside major artists such as Romain Bernini, Bruno Perramant, Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige or Eva Jospin (curator Jérôme Sans). In May 2018, the Eva Hober Gallery will present Jennyfer Grassi's first solo exhibition, “Un monde flamboyant”.
