Biography
Born in Paris in 1982, Magali Lambert is a young French photographer. Since 2013, the artist lives and works in Paris.
She studied at the National School of Decorative Arts of Paris. She then started working besides the artist Noëlle Hoeppe parallel to her first artistic researches. She was then selected by the French academy in Madrid to become part of the artist residency, Casa de Velazquez.
Magali Lambert has participated in several International group exposition, including the International Festival of Photography of Lianzhou in China and at the Montrouge Contemporary Art Fair. In 2014, She held a solo exhibition at the House of Art of Châtillon. Dominique Baqué was particularly impressed by the talent of the young photographer, which she appointed as one of the young artist of the Month of Photography.
In parallel to her personal work, she created with the artist Laure Chapalain, under the name "Laure and Magali", works that combine drawing, photography and typography.
