Psico

Born in 1985 in Montpellier, Psico is the son of a piano teacher and grandson of a watercolor painter. He has always been rocked in an artistic atmosphere. After a baccalaureate literary option history of art and music, he goes to university, studying letter and plastic arts.

A few years later, at 24, Psico decides to pass a BTS in visual communication option publishing and advertising to open himself to the universe and the various tools of graphism.

Color plays a very important role in his work. It is not so much the use of the colors themselves, but the contrast and complementarities between them. Thus, the ideas of clumsy associations are swept away by a rather nice and unexpected result that works pretty well.

Psico has been working with the same material for years, the markers of the brand Posca (markers with water-based paint), which push him to stay in this saturation rendering, bright colors and fluos thus creating a unity on the all of his works through the years ...

Symbolism, tattoo code, mythology, he always works from these themes.
