Jean-Yves Mahé was born in 1959 in Brittany where he has always lived and worked.
Self-taught artist, he trained in various techniques with other artists. Ceramist, metal sculptor and engraver, Jean-Yves Mahé flees academies and prefers to fish for trout or bass when he is not in his workshop.
