CIV

Born in Vichy in 1983, CIV is a stencil artist who has always been passionate about drawing, portraiture and the management of light on the image. He also studied in the field of art by obtaining a baccalaureate in applied arts and then continuing with a BTS Visual Communication. After a break of more than 10 years, he tries to help a friend by making a book for her daughter.

The obligation to put color in his illustrations leads him to use the bomb, a revelation. He discovers artists like Zalez, C215, Jef Aérosol ... This first stencil project is the perfect link between his pencil line and the light work that he appreciates so much.

CIV's favorite subjects are female portraits. He likes to vary the supports and paint on canvas, wood, metal or in the street. He likes to prepare his stencils by thinking in advance about the superimpositions of the layers, polishing his line and not discovering the result until after the application of the last blow of the spray.
