Biography
Michel Colombin is a French artist born in 1953 in Nancy.
He started drawing from a young age, and then studied art history, which was an important passage for his artistic research as a painter, as he was fascinated by the work and pain of tortured painters such as Vicent Van Gogh or the loneliness represented in the work of Edward Hopper.
From his first drawings, the world and the environment surrounding him became his favorite subject, and to this day he still paints scene of life using Chinese ink sometimes to represent these mute actors that are around him.
