Biography

As a child, fascinated by the potters of Nabeul in Tunisia then by the terracotta from ancient Greece, she passed the Baccalaureate in Athens and went to live in France. During an initiation in Paris at the age of 25, she "fell into the earth".

Brought to live abroad, she trained with local artisans: cookie decoration in Doha (Qatar) and potters' workshops in Alexandria (Egypt) and Jakarta (Indonesia).

From 2005 to 2018 she runs a “nomadic workshop” (in Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates) and asserts a resolutely popular and poetic style. With the marriage of materials (driftwood, wire netting, annealed wire, palm tree) she creates original and accessible works.

Inspiration systematically goes towards what others don't! Challenge the technique to go towards a piece whose gesture seems spontaneous and above all, that it offers poetry. Inspiration comes from everyday objects (in pottery) and especially from nature (sheep, camel, cat, hen and plants).
