Presentation

Born in 1966, Antonio Cacciatore is a visual artist with Sicilian origins.

In 2006 while living in Australia, Cacciatore chose to leave his career as a Management Consultant. He began studying Visual Arts at the prestigious Sydney National Art School.

Upon his return to Paris, he entered the studio of Ingrid Distler, Professor at the Frankfurt Kunstakademie. At the same time, he was taking courses with the Mexican hyper-realist painter Francisco Rangel. This simultaneous training allowed him to work towards achieving a technical mastery, established originally from the Renaissance and neoclassical grand masters, which Cacciatore pairs with his own contemporary methods.

In 2009, Cacciatore received the ‘Prix du Toit de l’Arche de la Défense’, awarded by Antoine Poncet, president of the Académie des Beaux-Arts. He then began exhibiting his work regularly.

Antonio Cacciatore is now a full-time painter who lives and works in Paris.
