Elisabeth Montrelay

I live in La Creuse and my painting is inspired by patterns from the surrounding landscapes and my large garden park. My work sessions last about 3 hours and are daily. I start by warming up using my equipment until I reach the peak of concentration and try to win the game. 

At the start of the series this process can last several weeks like a gestation which will give rise to very desired births, successes. Simultaneously with the gesture I introduce the color, as precisely as possible to indicate the space. It's up to color to describe the reality of lights and outlines because I don't want to fill shapes. 

I take a targeted approach for each series, such as the type of technique associated with a theme, and I change to the next. The successes I call my nuggets, once highlighted through their supervision, I am happy to share them with my audience. The public is the only reason that dedicates me to this exercise in order to decorate the walls of his house, I do not see anything derogatory to be decorative, inspired by nature, I aspire to give it a place in the interiors .
