Biography
Aldo Villa was born in Besancon on 29th March 1939. He graduated from the Fine Arts school. According to him, pure traces of art is a way to express freely and in a colorful manner. Famous worldwide, he lived in the Alsace region for years, before moving to the sunny region of light.
Aldo Villa makes use of large tints and overlays contrasting colors. A true creator, he transforms women, bouquets and springtime landscapes. The artist is part of the colorist current, which gives importance to shimmering colors. He fills up his canvas with colors and fills us up with tangible joy.
Aldo Villa passed away in 2019.
