Biography
Le Kolaj is French self-taught artist working with the paper that he cuts, pummels and glues on all the surfaces he can find.
Crazy about art and photography, he loves producing new images. Facing the daily flood of visual information that we are faced with, he likes to get them out of their context and give them a new meaning.
The color as structuring element occupies an important place in his collages. His references are the paintings of Basquiat and Bacon, but also color photographs of the sixties. Food, pain and sexuality in all its forms are recurring themes in his work.
