Biography
Parisian but originally from Nice, this artist has explore the whole world all his life, Mathias has composed his paintings and drawings with a world marked by characters and influenced by his experiences, encounters, journeys and books..... With his brush, the artist transcribes life moments (cafes, parties etc), periods of life( holidays, work...) and fuels of life (art, love, friendship....). The references are abundant: painting, literature, religion, photography.... everything reunited around a subject; Others or the love for others.
The painters alternates between gouche, acrylics and pencil to give life to a colorful and perky world . A world in which the artist imbricates his own: his favorite places, his favorite memories..... a world where joy prevails from childhood to the end of life.
The artist came back to his hometown and to his leitmotiv of joy for his exhibtion "Joie de Vivre", which took place at the Vendôme Gallery in 2015.
