Biography
Specializing in contemporary natural landscapes, Walsh combines Chinese ink painting influences with notions of the sublime found in western landscapes. Based in the south of Ireland, Walsh creates both large scale ink on canvases and smaller ink on paper, all influenced by the flora and changeable weather encountered at home and on trips to extreme landscapes such as the Skellig Islands and Iceland.
