Biography
Sean O'Rourke is an Irish artist graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2016.
In 2018, his first solo exhibition at the Lab Gallery entitled “Cultural Osmosis" examines how our external environment influences our personality.
Sean O'Rourke collects and uses worn, abandoned objects such as rusty metal which he incorporates or uses as a medium not only for its aesthetic value, but also as a symbol of socio-urban influences.
Sean O'Rourke's works can be found at the National University of Ireland, the University of Maynooth and in many private collections.
