Patricia Del Monaco

Italy

Biography

Patricia Del Monaco is an Italian painter. She was born and lives in Rome, the location of her workshop.

She exposed her works for Amnesty International at the Palais de Province and the "Salt warehouses". In 2003, she exposed at the Tafe Cafe in Perth, Australia, a series of canvas dedicated to the beauty and spirituality of the trees. Her cycle about trees eventually permitted her to be invited by William Etundi, the founder of See.me, in New York City, at the headquarter of the foundation Angel Orengsanz.

Two years later, she exposed in Dubai and NYC. In 2014, she exposed in Rome, at the Monumental Complex of Victorian. In 2015, she exposed in Berlin, Amsterdam and Milan.

Patricia Del Monaco creates oil paintings that she insists are entrenched in the lived emotions one experiences when facing a work of art. Del Monaco sees her complex patterns as a way of referencing harmony, completeness and chaos. This juxtaposition is a central aspect of the negotiation that she hopes to bring out in the spectator. The artist works in many mediums ranging from, digital art to oil on canvas, sculpture and everything in between.
