Stefan Brüggemann was born in 1975 in Mexico. Through conceptual art and appropriation, he explores the visual power of words and their ability to transcribe an event or news. His “image signs” unleash memories to create images which are specific to the viewer. Using different materials, he introduces these concepts with subtlety and humour.
