Born in 1960 in Marrakech, Noureddine Daifallah still lives and works in this city where he is also a professor of fine arts. Although inspired by the Muslim tradition of calligraphy, it stands out, gives it a new breath. With his brush, he replaces the ink by painting, blurs the writing by concentrating on aesthetics (rhythmic alternation, curls, excrescences and other ornamentations) all realized mainly in dark colors, colors "Earth".
Since his first exhibition in 1977, when he was only 17 years old, Noureddine Daifallah's works crossed the Mediterranean to be exhibited and recognized in Europe (France, Italy and Portugal in particular) and in the Arab world.
In 1991 he was awarded the Istanbul Biennale and the 2nd Encounter of Young Moroccan Painting at the Wafa Bank. In Morocco, it is permanently exhibited at the Matisse Art Gallery in Casablanca and Marrakech. Two of his works have been acquired by the Guggenheim Museum.
