Olga Klein Astrachan (1907-1999). Painter and ceramist. Born January 17, 1907 in St. Petersburg, French of Russian origin.


She studied at the Higher Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin (Germany).

Subsequently, she works for Ulstein and Mosse, she makes the sets and costumes for "The Blue Bird" at the theater of Jushny.


In 1933, she returned to France in Paris. In 1937, she was noticed by André Warnod at the International Universal Exhibition where she was invited by Raymond Cogniat.


In 1937, she married Loca Astrachan. From 1940 to 1945, Olga Klein Astrachan will reside in Toulouse.

At the end of the Second World War, she returned to Paris and participated in various major salons, House of Culture, Galleries. In 1948, Olga Klein Astrachan started to practice the art of ceramics.
