Molio

Molio, born in 1962 in Spain, painted from childhood, inspired by the light emanating from the paintings of Joaquin Sorolla.

Absorbed by the beauty of nature, she paints flora and fauna as strong and fragile elements in which she seeks the light that highlights her compositions.

His brushes are then algae, pieces of wood, pebbles intertwined with shells or even horizons of orange groves.

In 1975, La Movida invaded Spain. In this period of exuberance, Molio joined the Graphic Arts and an architectural firm in Gandia.

In 1983, the artist, eager for knowledge, left for London to make his weapons.

From museums to exhibitions, from emotions to emotions, she never ceases to observe the works of Turner, Van Gogh, Velázquez from which she will draw her ultimate inspiration.

In 1986, Molio moved to Saint-Malo where she used her years of observation to study calligraphy, perspectives, architecture and even the play of materials.

From 2003 to 2005, a major work, entitled Rencontre avec Soi et Oubli de Soi for the benefit of a personal exhibition at the Regional Council of Brittany. Following this event, Molio will meet the master Paul Aïzpiri who will invite him to his studio in Paris and will bond with an artistic friendship until his death.

In 2007, his work Chassé-croisé was selected and purchased during an international competition launched by the Château des Réaux in the Center-Val de Loire region.

Since 2014, Molio has exhibited his works in numerous international fairs and had a highly noticed exhibition in 2017 at Unesco.
