Biography

This artist from Palencia has had more than fifty individual exhibitions in Spain, Namibia, South Africa, Slovakia, Slovenia and Austria; as well as a hundred collective exhibitions with different associations and groups.

He has also participated in six international workshops, in some cases as an active part of their organization. He has been commissioned by the Catholic Church to make a sculpture of Saint Eugene of Mazenod, in commemoration of the hundredth anniversary of its foundation in Namibia.  

Another commission has been the realization of a mural with the theme of fishing for a factory in Luderitz that today is owned by Pescanova. He has also been commissioned by the First National Bank of South Africa to execute the sculpture Tiempo en Expansión.

He is the winner of the second prize in the mural project for the Ministry of Energy and Mines in Windhoek, Namibia. In Madrid he has been awarded a scholarship by the Círculo de Bellas Artes for the workshops of Arte Actual.

He has always been linked to groups and associations, such as Taller Abierto and Grupo Kota, in Madrid; Art and Guild and Tulipanwe, in Namibia; and Grupo Latino, in Vienna.

He currently belongs to the Association of Independent Artists More: AI+. He is a founding member of this group since 2013, the year of its official creation, in Palencia. During these five years of activity of the group has made several exhibitions and workshops in the capital and province.
