Hindley Wist

A musician from the age of 8, this is his first artistic expression. Self-taught composer, international music professional, until the year of his 30th birthday when he wanted to create his own musical project. Several attempts at compositions, in search of his personal touch, but the desired coherence is not present. Frustrated, he takes a box of pastels belonging to his friend and begins to draw a series of more or less abstract portraits. Hindley Wist then launched headlong into this new mode of expression. Acrylic paint, crayons, faces and characters appear on his canvases.

Most of his creations are often self-portraits, as well as situations experienced or seen in everyday life. The goal to date remains a visceral need for personal and intimate expression. A kind of therapy to extract this deep sensitivity that he continues to develop.
