Sean Landers is an American contemporary artist known for his multidisciplinary approach and introspective works.
Born in 1962 in Palmer, Massachusetts, Landers studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and received his BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art. He gained prominence in the 1990s with his confessional and self-referential artworks, incorporating painting, sculpture, video, and text.
Landers often employs a stream-of-consciousness style, exploring personal experiences, fears, and aspirations through his art. His works frequently tackle themes of identity, ambition, and the creative process.
